The Main meanders through the varied and charming regions of Franconia, Franconian wine country and Spessart. Turn your gaze upwards more often and admire the numerous castles and defiant fortresses. You won‘t want to leave the big cities of Würzburg and Mainz in a hurry, because there‘s plenty to do here. Enjoy a glass of wine from the region in a rustic wine tavern and toast to a successful day during your Main cycle tour.
