Your Weekend Cycling Escape at Lake Constance

You’d love to spend a weekend at Lake Constance but don’t have much time? No worries – in just three to four days, you can enjoy some of the lake’s very best moments. Take a relaxed ride around the Lower Lake with its gentle climbs, follow the mostly flat paths along the Upper Lake, or go all in and tackle the full loop around Lake Constance. Along the way, you’ll pass small harbours, pretty old towns and, every now and then, that wonderful view of the Alps across the water.

Accommodation, route information and luggage transport are all included – you simply get on your bike, and we handle the rest. And breaks? Just whenever you feel like it: maybe a lakeside café, maybe a quiet swimming spot right by the shore. It’s your weekend, and it should feel easy and refreshing.

Why a weekend at Lake Constance is ideal for you

A short cycling break at Lake Constance is perfect if you want to get away quickly and still experience a lot. The routes are mostly flat, easy to ride and wonderfully varied – ideal for beginners and for anyone who wants to enjoy a few relaxing days without much preparation.

Between Konstanz, Meersburg, Radolfzell and Stein am Rhein, you cycle pleasantly short daily stages and have plenty of time for waterside breaks, cafés along the shore or a spontaneous swim. No luggage, no stress – just start pedalling and unwind.

The Best Highlights Along the Lake Constance Routes

Lake Constance offers surprising variety over a short distance: quiet shoreline paths, small bays, historic old towns and, time and again, that wide view across the water to the Alps. You pass through places like Lindau, Radolfzell or Meersburg, ride through vineyards, along little harbours and past blooming waterfront promenades.

Depending on your route, you’ll discover the peaceful natural moments of the Lower Lake (Untersee) or the lively lakeside towns around the Upper Lake (Obersee). And along the way, cosy cafés, viewpoints and small swimming spots invite you to stop whenever you feel like it – exactly the mix that makes a weekend here so special.
