The classical route from Treves to Coblenz in 7 days / 6 nights from 419,- €
The Moselle Cycle Route

This tour is our most popular option along the German Moselle river. The beautiful landscape of the Moselle Valley and its cultural and historical wealth ensure this tour is a once in a lifetime experience. The Moselle Cycle Route is not very hilly and is therefore also suitable for families with children.

This Mosel Cycle Tour is available in two varieties:

Category B:
Overnight stays in comfortable guesthouses and hotels of the national 2*/3* category.
Category A: Overnight stays in specially selected hotels of the national 3*/4* category.

Day 1 Individual Arrival in Treves

Treves

Treves is a fascinating town and was once the capital of the Western Roman Empire. You can visit the Porta Nigra, the best preserved Roman city gates north of the Alps, or the basilica, the largest preserved ancient roofed structure. The thermal baths give visitors a good insight into the Roman bathing culture and traffic has been crossing the Roman bridge since 1860. If you have booked a rental bike, it will be waiting for you in your hotel.

Day 2 Treves - Trittenheim, approx. 40 km

Your first day of cycling will lead you out of Treves to the town of Schweich with its attractive ferry tower. From here on vineyards dominate the landscape until you reach your destination; Trittenheim. In Mehring there is an interesting Roman excavation site in the Villa Rustika, and at the Detzem sluice you will be able to see boats going through the locks and sluices.
