Itinerary

Day 1

Individual arrival in St. Moritz

After your arrival for the bike tour from St. Moritz to Innsbruck and check-in at the hotel, take your time to explore the famous Alpine destination. You will notice straight away: St. Moritz is different. It stands for elegance and class worldwide. The world's high society meets at the famous Snow Polo and even James Bond has raced down the slopes in St. Moritz. Enjoy the unique flair of the town as you stroll through the streets.

Day 2

Round tour St. Moritz

approx. 40 km

Grab your bike straight after breakfast and explore the fascinating area around St. Moritz. Cycle along the Lakes Silvaplana and Silsersee and get closer and closer to the source of the Inn. In Majola or Silvaplana, you will be welcomed with a warm bainvegni. Sit down in a café near the lake and watch in awe as the kite surfers use the wind for their fascinating tricks. Relax and cycle back to St. Moritz, where you will also spend the next night.

Day 3

St. Moritz – Zernez

approx. 35 km

You follow the still narrow, quiet Inn downstream, often along the banks. Lively, picturesque villages such as Samedan, La Punt and Zuoz lie along the way. Richly decorated farms and stately patrician houses – postcard idylls as far as the eye can see. The locals ensure that Engadin culture remains alive. Roll on to Zernez, the gateway to the national park. Home to rare Alpine animals and untouched, wild nature, it is the only national park in Switzerland that you will get to know on the bike tour from St. Moritz to Innsbruck.

Day 4

Zernez – Scuol

approx. 35 km

The roar of the Inn becomes louder and the river a little wider. However, the pretty villages remain small. You pass through the small mountain village of Lavin and Guarda, which lies high above the Inn and owes its name to the magnificent view. Cycle leisurely through the narrow streets of the villages and return the friendly Bun di of the locals with a greeting. You will soon reach Scuol, your destination for today's stage. Relax in the Bogn Engiadina thermal spa (not included) or visit Tarasp Castle, the majestic landmark of the Engadin.

Day 5

Scuol – Prutz / Ried

approx. 55 km

Today's stage of your bike tour from St. Moritz to Innsbruck begins in a very relaxed manner. You cycle leisurely through the wonderful landscape of the Engadin. Enjoy the views of the mountains and the lush green meadows. Soon it's Servus in Austria! First you reach Pfunds, a tranquil village in the border triangle. Continue rolling effortlessly through numerous small villages, whose traditional way of life can be seen as you pass by. You will soon have reached your stage destination of Ried or Prutz.

Day 6

Ried – Imst

approx. 40 km

Bike to Landeck first, where you can take your first break. There is a lot to see here: The castle and landmark of the town houses the local history museum. If you fancy a hike, visit the Zammer Lochputz, a mystical gorge with a waterfall and mirror cave. Back on the saddle, greet Zams Monastery and cycle through the protected Milser Au to Imst. Are you not afraid of heights? Then visit the Adlerhorst viewing platform! You can reach the platform via a 13-metre-long footbridge, from where you have a wonderful view of the mountains.

Day 7

Imst – Innsbruck

approx. 65 km

Start the last stage of your bike tour from St. Moritz to Innsbruck. You follow the river through small, traditional villages to Stams. A visit to the Cistercian abbey Stams Abbey with its own schnapps distillery is a worthwhile break. You then cycle the last few kilometers to the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck. You should take plenty of time to explore this fascinating city. The Hofburg, the Golden Roof, Ambras Castle and the Witten Basilica are just a few witnesses to great history. You have a wonderful view of the city from above from the Olympic ski jump Bergisel.
